Practicing in Cincinnati since 2005, Allison Lied, M.D. opened her own plastic surgery practice in Madisonville in January 2008. Additionally, she serves on the plastic surgery staff for Cincinnati’s Shriners Hospital for Children and volunteers as an assistant professor for the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in the department of surgery’s plastic surgery division.

Dr. Lied earned her undergraduate degree (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Duke University and her medical degree (magna cum laude, AOA) from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She then completed her plastic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati, where she served as chief resident in her final year. During this time, she also performed a cosmetic surgery rotation under the guidance of renowned plastic surgeons James Stuzin, M.D., Tom Baker, M.D., and Tracy Baker, M.D., in Miami.

In her practice of plastic surgery, Dr. Lied is particularly interested in body contouring, facial rejuvenation and breast reconstruction. She has an avid interest in oncoplastic surgery, which involves reshaping and rebuilding of the breast at the same time as removal of the cancer.
Dr. Lied lives in Hyde Park with her husband Michael and daughter Caroline.  She enjoys playing with her young daughter, swimming, cooking, travel and tennis.
