What is the cost of the procedure and what does
this include?
Exact quotes cannot be given over the phone. Each quote is individualized per patient with many variables taken into consideration. We will provide a written quote stating the fees for the physician, operating room and anesthesia at the time of the consultation.

Do you offer free consultations?
No, we have a one time only $75.00 consultation fee.

Do you offer financing?
Yes, patients may apply for Healthcare credit through Capital One.

Dr. Lied's surgery schedule varies weekly. We do our best to accomodate patients for surgery
in a timely manner.

How long will I be off work?
This varies with the type of surgery. Typically a 2-4 week recovery would be needed for a major surgery. Many patients choose to have multiple procedures done at the same time. If this is the case, recovery could be 6-8 weeks.

How soon can I be seen for a consultation?
Newly diagnosed breast cancer patients are scheduled within 7-10 days.

What is Dr. Lied’s surgery schedule?
Breast cancer patients are scheduled as soon possible.

Can I be reconstructed at the same time as my mastectomy?
Yes, our scheduler will contact the breast surgeon’s office to coordinate the surgery.

We offer several different options. Choosing the type of reconstruction depends on a patient's breast and body size, her expectations and other types of treatment that may be required.

Breast reconstruction is done in stages. The number of surgeries will depend on the type of reconstruction and each patient’s healing process.

How long will I be off work?
Most women will require a 4-8 week recovery.

How do I get both my breast surgeon and Dr. Lied scheduled at the same time?
Once you have had a consultation with Dr. Lied and the type of reconstruction is decided upon, we will contact the breast surgeon’s office to coordinate the surgery schedule.

Will my insurance cover my reconstruction?
Yes, our scheduler will take care of pre-certifying the surgery.
