Dr. Lied:

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Allison Lied.
She was friendly, patient and very informative. I could sense
how passionate she was about her work. I would recommend
her to anyone. Words cannot express how thankful I am for her
expertise in reconstructing my breast.

Theresa Fox:

I am especially grateful for the professional and personal care I received from Theresa Fox (Dr. Lied's Nurse, LPN). She was always available to answer any questions professionally with a caring attitude.

Dear Dr. Lied:

Words cannot express my appreciation for the concern and care you have given me this past year. I found out that I had breast cancer in 2007. Even though I had cancer in the right breast, I decided to have a double mastectomy. I was afraid that the cancer would spread and cosmetically I wanted my breast to appear the same. I needed several surgeries to finish the reconstruction. I decided to have a tummy-tuck to help with the finishing touches on my breasts. The skin was used to complete the graphing on my nipples and areola. I also had two pounds of fat removed from my abdomen and my belly button hernia was fixed. I started to think about everything that I was going through and wanted to do something for myself. So in addition to the other work being done, I had the fat deposits removed from underneath my eyes.

The surgical procedures you performed were outstanding. I couldn't have been more pleased. The work was precise and the pain was minimal. All my procedures turned out fantastic. I have recommended you to family, friends, and other physicians.

Most important of all, is the manner in which you have treated me. Whenever we spoke, I felt the warmth and concern. You provided me with all of my options and the explanations were very detailed. You have exceptional bedside manner! Keep up the great work. I will definitely seek your assistance if I ever need plastic surgery again.

Dear Dr. Lied:

I just wanted to say thank you for your kindness, care, and marvelous expertise in doing my breast reduction. It has been one year + since the surgery, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! After going through life (I am now 53)  with pendulous, heavy breasts, being called “Betsy Big Boobs” when I was a young, shy teenager, and walking hunched over to try and hide what I had, I can now feel like a “normal” (whatever that is!) person. I can shop in the regular size clothing departments, feel like men are talking to my face instead of my chest (yes, even at my age they still do that!), and can exercise without taking Advil for an aching back! The only regret I have is that I was not directed by someone or did not have enough insight to check into breast reductions sooner! Thank you for this “freeing” feeling that I now have, which walks hand-in-hand with the freedom of menopause!

If you need me to talk to any of your future patients who just can’t make the decision, I would be more than happy to. When I was unsure if I wanted to have the surgery, you were kind enough to allow me to speak with two of your patients beforehand. This is very helpful because when you get the real story from someone who has been through a breast reduction, you realize that it can be a reality and does turn out well. Fear of the unknown is probably the biggest factor in not going through with it. Anyway, I would be glad to relay the experience!

Take care and thank you!

Warmest regards,

Pam

Dear Dr. Lied:

When I reviewed my implant options with Dr. Lied, she was patient and answered all my questions. Even when I encountered multiple complications, Theresa and Dr. Lied were always there to take my call and get me in for emergency appointments on the same day. Dr Lied even called me on a holiday weekend to make sure that the treatment was working. Through the course of my treatment, she also removed a melanoma from my mother’s hand that could have gotten much worse without immediate treatment. Dr Lied was able to work her in the same day and remove the cancerous area. This was a great relief for us because it was 3 more months before a dermatologist could see my mother.

Theresa Fox- I’ve been coming to this office for the last 18 months and have seen Theresa every visit. She has always taken time to explain everything and answer any questions. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for any appointment, even when I had to be worked into the schedule due to an emergency. Theresa handled all of my fills, photographs, phone calls and FMLA paperwork for my employer. This allowed me to focus on my health and not worry about disability paperwork which could impact my paycheck.

Overall, I would rate my entire experience (Dr’s, staff, and care) here as a 10! I would highly recommend anyone who is considering a mastectomy and/or reconstructive surgery to consider this practice! When I considered another practice, I felt like I was walking into a cancer treatment center instead of an positive supportive environment. I will continue to share my experiences and recommend both Dr. Manders and Dr Lied.
