Dear Dr. Lied:
Words cannot express my appreciation for the concern and care you have given me this past year. I found out that I had breast cancer in 2007. Even though I had cancer in the right breast, I decided to have a double mastectomy. I was afraid that the cancer would spread and cosmetically I wanted my breast to appear the same. I needed several surgeries to finish the reconstruction. I decided to have a tummy-tuck to help with the finishing touches on my breasts. The skin was used to complete the graphing on my nipples and areola. I also had two pounds of fat removed from my abdomen and my belly button hernia was fixed. I started to think about everything that I was going through and wanted to do something for myself. So in addition to the other work being done, I had the fat deposits removed from underneath my eyes.
The surgical procedures you performed were outstanding. I couldn't have been more pleased. The work was precise and the pain was minimal. All my procedures turned out fantastic. I have recommended you to family, friends, and other physicians.
Most important of all, is the manner in which you have treated me. Whenever we spoke, I felt the warmth and concern. You provided me with all of my options and the explanations were very detailed. You have exceptional bedside manner! Keep up the great work. I will definitely seek your assistance if I ever need plastic surgery again.

Dear Dr. Lied:
I just wanted to say thank you for your kindness, care, and marvelous expertise in doing my breast reduction. It has been one year + since the surgery, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! After going through life (I am now 53) with pendulous, heavy breasts, being called “Betsy Big Boobs” when I was a young, shy teenager, and walking hunched over to try and hide what I had, I can now feel like a “normal” (whatever that is!) person. I can shop in the regular size clothing departments, feel like men are talking to my face instead of my chest (yes, even at my age they still do that!), and can exercise without taking Advil for an aching back! The only regret I have is that I was not directed by someone or did not enough insight to check into breast reductions sooner! Thank you for this “freeing” feeling that I now have, which walks hand-in-hand with the freedom of menopause!
If you need me to talk to any of your future patients who just can’t make the decision, I would be more than happy to. When I was unsure if I wanted to have the surgery, you were kind enough to allow me to speak with two of your patients beforehand. This is very helpful because when you get the real story from someone who has been through a breast reduction, you realize that it can be a reality and does turn out well. Fear of the unknown is probably the biggest factor in not going through with it. Anyway, I would be glad to relay the experience! My telephone number (cell) is 859-816-2143. Feel free to have any of your patients contact me if they (or you) wish.
And one more thing, Allison, I am again so truly sorry for the loss of your son. Please know that I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts.
Take care and thank you!
Warmest regards,
Pam Kremer
